Hello, I’m Harpal — An interim Chief Product Officer (CPO) working with tech scaleups to grow products, teams and revenues.

Success Stories

Taking Epica's prediction platform from an MVP to $MM ARR

The data scientists at Epica.ai built a ground-breaking prediction engine and tested the MVP with early adopters with great success. As VP of Product at Epica.ai, I turned this research-led innovation into a commercial market-ready product with the help of product and engineering teams. My efforts increased their Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) by 10x (in multi-millions) and doubled their team size in less than a year.

Product acceleration for Selligent’s marketing automation platform

I led the 'Product Overhaul and Acceleration' for Selligent’s AI-powered omnichannel marketing automation platform. My leadership, collaboration and product development efforts led the business to meet aggressive annual financial targets ($MM). Additionally, Selligent’s design function matured and the business saved millions by redirecting product development resources to work on the right problems.

In a short period, Harpal helped us move forward on several fronts, particularly accelerating the transformation of our culture and processes, and in driving collaboration within and amongst the various product, engineering and customer success teams. Harpal led these efforts by setting strong positive examples while coaching others along the way. Harpal is very customer centric and user focused in his approaches. It was a pleasure to work and partner with Harpal.

AI will permeate everything you do

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is all around us. You encounter it daily in the Face ID, smart speakers, social media, sending emails, searching online, banking, watching Netflix and shopping on Amazon. It influences what you watch, see and buy.

A good Product Strategy requires you to have a deep understanding of your customers, market and know the art of the possible when it comes to emerging technologies like AI, Machine Learning, Computer Vision and AR/VR.

While not all products need to use AI, the ones that do and use it effectively build an excellent unfair advantage in the process putting them light years ahead of their competitors.

See some of my recent Applied AI projects or get in touch to discuss how you can benefit from AI.
